CHERRY PICKING FOR ICE CREAM!

EarthWorks has teamed up with JP Licks to provide limited edition ice cream flavors using fruit harvested from trees planted and grown on public property by EarthWorks! Well here's the thing;we need your help to actually pick the fruit to be used! It's a great opportunity to explore the green spaces of Boston and discover new orchards right in your backyard. If those weren't good enough reasons - JP Licks will also give volunteers a $5 coupon for Ice Cream to show their appreciation!
After picking the fruit we will head back to the office and give a short workshop on how to prep the fruit for freezing! We look forward to seeing you - please email Andrew Birch if you are interested!
GROUP VOLUNTEERING
We are currently booking group projects
for the fall. We can accomodate groups of 5-20 adults on weekdays or
weekends. We can also host larger groups with appropriate funding. We also offer volunteer opportunities for youth groups that
are chaperoned by adults. Projects typically include tree planting,
invasive species removal, tree care, fruit harvesting or orchard care,
and schoolyard garden care; tasks vary depending on the date and site.
